A mobile communication apparatus and method which extract surrounding base
stations within a certain defined area centered at a present location of a
mobile unit, carry out an arithmetic operation for obtaining a specified
weighting coefficient with respect to each of the extracted surrounding
base stations on the basis of a direction of each of the extracted
surrounding base stations from the present location of the mobile unit and
a traveling direction of the mobile unit carry out a further arithmetic
operation for weighting a value of the electric field strength of a signal
recieved from each of the surrounding base stations with the weighting
coefficient of a corresponding surrounding base station to provide a
weighted electric field strength of each of the extracted surrounding base
station, and select the one base station from the extracted surrounding
base stations depending on a value of the weighted electric field
strength.
Un matériel et une méthode mobiles de communication qui extraient les stations de base environnantes dans un certain secteur défini ont centré à un endroit actuel d'une unité mobile, effectuent une opération arithmétique pour obtenir un coefficient de pondération indiqué en ce qui concerne chacune des stations de base environnantes extraites sur la base d'une direction de chacune des stations de base environnantes extraites de l'endroit actuel de l'unité mobile et une direction de déplacement de l'unité mobile effectuent encore une autre opération arithmétique pour peser une valeur de la force de champ électrique d'un signal recieved de chacune des stations de base environnantes avec le coefficient de pondération d'une station de base environnante correspondante pour fournir une force pesée électrique de champ de chacune de la station de base environnante extraite, et choisissez l'une station de base à partir des stations de base environnantes extraites selon une valeur de la force pesée de champ électrique.
