The invention relates to an opaque biaxially oriented film made of at least
one layer that contains COC. This layer contains a cycloolefin copolymer
(COC) in a concentration of 0.5 to 30 wt. % with regard to this layer and
contains a polymer made from aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid units.
