This invention is directed to a method for the treatment of pain comprising
administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective
amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of Formula (I) and
Formula (II):

wherein phenyl is substituted at X with one to five halogen atoms selected
from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine; and,
R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are independently
selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl;
wherein C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl is optionally substituted with phenyl
(wherein phenyl is optionally substituted with substituents independently
selected from the group consisting of halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl,
C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, amino, nitro and cyano).
Diese Erfindung wird auf eine Methode für die Behandlung der Schmerz enthalten zu einem Thema in der Notwendigkeit davon eine therapeutisch wirkungsvolle Menge eines Mittels ausübend verwiesen, das von der Gruppe vorgewählt wird, die aus Formel (i) und Formel (ii) besteht: ## STR1 ## worin Phenyl an X mit einen bis fünf Halogenatomen ersetzt wird, die von der Gruppe vorgewählt werden, die aus Fluor, Chlor, Brom und Jod besteht; und, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 und R.sub.6 werden unabhängig von der Gruppe vorgewählt, die aus Wasserstoff und C.sub.1 - Alkyl C.sub.4 besteht; worin C.sub.1 - Alkyl C.sub.4 wird beliebig mit Phenyl ersetzt (worin Phenyl beliebig mit den Substituenten ersetzt wird, die unabhängig von der Gruppe vorgewählt werden, die aus Halogen besteht, C.sub.1 - C.sub.4 Alkyl, C.sub.1 - alkoxy, Amino-, Nitro- und Cyano C.sub.4).
