without generating dioxins. A catalyst to decompose halogenated
hydrocarbon gas, 4, is supported on a carrier 3. A target gas, which
contains the halogenated hydrocarbon gas, is passed through the carrier 3,
while heating the carrier 3 using an electromagnetic induction heating
mechanism 5, 6.
