The invention provides a process for the production of iron based pigments
and anticorrosive additives from elemental iron comprising: a) reacting
iron Fe.degree. with ferric sulphate Fe.sub.2 (SO.sub.4).sub.3 and with
sulfuric acid H.sub.2 SO.sub.4 to produce ferrous sulphate FeSO.sub.4 ; b)
oxidizing ferrous sulphate FeSO.sub.4 in a bacterial solution containing
at 10.sup.7 bactrial cells of thiobacillus ferrooxidans per 1 ml of
solution under aerobic conditions to produce ferric oxide sulphate
Fe.sub.2 (SO.sub.4).sub.3 ; c) reacting said ferric oxide sulphate
Fe.sub.2 (SO.sub.4).sub.3 with water, to precipitate iron oxide
monohydrate Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3.times.H.sub.2 O; and d) re-cycling the
solution from step c, to step a, to utilize the sulphuric acid and a
portion of the ferruos sulphate values therein.
Die Erfindung stellt einen Prozeß für die Produktion der Eisen gegründeten Pigmente und der rostfesten Zusätze vom elementaren Eisenenthalten zur Verfügung: A) Reagieren des Eisens Fe.degree. mit Eisensulfat Fe.sub.2 (SO.sub.4).sub.3 und mit der Schwefelsäure H.sub.2 SO.sub.4, zum des Eisensulfats FeSO.sub.4 zu produzieren; B) Oxidieren des Eisensulfats FeSO.sub.4 in einer bakteriellen Lösung, die an den bactrial Zellen 10.sup.7 von thiobacillus ferrooxidans pro 1 ml der Lösung unter aeroben Bedingungen enthält, um Eisenoxidsulfat Fe.sub.2 zu produzieren (SO.sub.4).sub.3; c) Reagieren des besagten Eisenoxidsulfats Fe.sub.2 (SO.sub.4).sub.3 mit Wasser, Eisenoxidmonohydrat Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3.times.H.sub.2 O ausfällen; und d), die Lösung von Schritt c, zu Schritt a aufbereitend, um die Schwefelsäure und einen Teil des ferruos Sulfats zu verwenden, bewertet darin.
