The invention provides a method of packaging an aqueous liquid whereby a
charge of the liquid is charged through a closable opening into
acontainer. A source of inorganic ions which are soluble in the liquid is
also inserted into the container. The opening is then closed to retain the
liquid and the source in the container. There is also provided a liquid
pack comprising a container having a closable opening and an aqueous
liquid in the container. A source of inorganic ions in the container
contacts the liquid, the ions being soluble in the liquid and the source
comprising a carrier for said ions of solid material insoluble in the
liquid and having said ions sorbed thereto. The invention also provides a
device comprising said source and a receptacle in which it is held
captive.
De uitvinding verstrekt een methode om een waterige vloeistof te verpakken waardoor een last van de vloeistof door het sluitbare openen in acontainer wordt geladen. Een bron van anorganische ionen die in de vloeistof oplosbaar zijn wordt ook opgenomen in de container. Het openen is dan gesloten om de vloeistof en de bron in de container te behouden. Er ook verstrekt een vloeibaar pak wordt bestaand uit een container die het sluitbare openen en een waterige vloeistof in de container heeft. Een bron van anorganische ionen in de container contacteert de vloeistof, de ionen die oplosbaar in de vloeistof en de bron bestaand uit een drager voor bovengenoemde ionen van stevig materiaal onoplosbaar in de vloeistof en hebben gezegdd daaraan geabsorbeerde ionen zijn. De uitvinding verstrekt ook een apparaat bestaand uit bovengenoemde bron en een vergaarbak waarin het gevangen wordt gehouden.
