Disclosed is a nucleic acid molecule from nematodes encoding for
phosphoglycerate mutase (PGM) polypeptides. The PGM-like polypeptide
sequence is also provided, as are vectors, host cells, and recombinant
methods for production of PGM-like nucleotides and polypeptides. The
invention further relates to screening methods for identifying inhibitors
and/or activators, as well as methods for antibody production. Such
inhibitors are useful for control nematode infection.
