The invention concerns a gypsum plaster composition, including
alkylsuphates of formula H(CH.sub.2).sub.nOSO.sup.-M.sup.+, wherein: n is
from 6 to 16 and the average number of carbon atoms in the alkylsulphate
composition n.sub.m ranges between 10 and 11, and M is a monovalent
cation. The invention also concerns a method for preparing the plaster
composition and a gypsum plaster board obtainable from said composition.
The invention further concerns a method for making gypsum plaster boards.
The invention is useful for producing lightened gypsum plaster boards.
