A method, apparatus, and medium are provided for obtaining information
related to elements of a user interface that reside in a process separate
from that of a requesting component in some embodiments. The method
includes providing a request to identify an element of interest,
providing a list of attributes that are desired to be returned in
connection with the element of interest, requesting the element of
interest, and contemporaneously returning attribute information according
to the list of attributes with the element of interest.
