Improved Wavefront Coding Optics, which apply a phase profile to the
wavefront of light from an object to be imaged, retain their insensitivity
to focus related aberration, while increasing the heights of the resulting
MTFs and reducing the noise in the final images. Such improved Wavefront
Coding Optics have the characteristic that the central portion of the
applied phase profile is essentially flat (or constant), while a
peripheral region of the phase profile around the central region
alternately has positive and negative phase regions relative to the
central region.
Verbesserte Wavefront-Kodierung-Optik, die ein Phase Profil am Wavefront des Lichtes von einem Gegenstand anwenden, um abgebildet zu sein, behalten ihre Unempfindlichkeit zu Fokus bezogener Abweichung, bei der Erhöhung der Höhen des resultierenden MTFs und dem Verringern der Geräusche in den abschließenden Bildern. Solche verbesserte Wavefront-Kodierung-Optik haben die Eigenschaft, daß der zentrale Teil des angewandten Phase Profils im Wesentlichen flach (oder Konstante) ist, während eine Zusatzregion des Phase Profils um die zentrale Region wechselnd die positiven und negativen Phase Regionen im Verhältnis zu der zentralen Region hat.
