The present invention provides compounds and methods that can be used to
convert the intermediate halomethyl ketones (HMKs), e.g., chloromethyl
ketones, to the corresponding S,S- and R,S-diastereomers. More
particularly, the present invention provides: (1) reduction methods; (2)
inversion methods; and (3) methods involving the epoxidation of alkenes.
Using the various methods of the present invention, the R,S-epoxide and
the intermediary compounds can be prepared reliably, in high yields and in
high purity.
Die anwesende Erfindung liefert Mittel und Methoden, die verwendet werden können, um die Zwischenhalomethyl Ketone (HMKs) z.B. chloromethyl Ketone, in das entsprechende S, das s und das R umzuwandeln, S-diastereomers. Besonders, stellt die anwesende Erfindung zur Verfügung: (1) Verkleinerung Methoden; (2) Umstellungmethoden; und (3) Methoden, welche die Epoxidierung der Alkene mit einbeziehen. Mit den verschiedenen Methoden der anwesenden Erfindung, können das R, das S-Epoxid und die intermediären Mittel im hohen Reinheitsgrad zuverlässig, in hohe Ergebnisse und vorbereitet werden.
