The invention relates to a system having an inorganic chemical system
defined by an electronegative half cell reaction producing hydrogen, a
first electropositive half cell having a sufficient potential to drive the
electronegative half cell reaction; and a second electropositive half cell
reaction. The electropositive half cell reactions are selected to increase
the amount or rate of hydrogen and/or energy production. The invention
also relates to a method of working the cell and the use of the cell for
energy storage and distribution.
A invenção relaciona-se a um sistema que tem um sistema químico inorgánico definido por uma meia reação electronegative da pilha produzindo o hidrogênio, uma primeira meia pilha electropositive que tem um potencial suficiente dirigir a meia reação electronegative da pilha; e uma segunda meia reação electropositive da pilha. As meias reações electropositive da pilha são selecionadas para aumentar a quantidade ou a taxa do hidrogênio e/ou da produção de energia. A invenção relaciona-se também a um método de trabalhar a pilha e o uso da pilha para o armazenamento e a distribuição da energia.
