The present invention relates to compounds of formula I 1
wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, U, V, W, k and m are
as defined in the description and claims, and pharmaceutically acceptable
salts and/or pharmaceutically acceptable esters thereof. The compounds
are useful for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of diseases which are
associated with 2,3-oxidosqualene-lanosterol cyclase such as
hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis, vascular diseases,
mycoses, parasit infections, gallstones, tumors and/or hyperproliferative
disorders, and treatment and/or prophylaxis of impaired glucose tolerance
and diabetes.
De onderhavige uitvinding heeft op samenstellingen van formule I 1 betrekking waarin R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, U, V, W, k en m zoals die in de beschrijving en de eisen, en farmaceutisch aanvaardbare zouten en/of farmaceutisch aanvaardbare esters wordt bepaald daarvan zijn. De samenstellingen zijn nuttig voor de behandeling en/of de profylaxe van ziekten die met 2.3-oxidosqualene-lanosterol cyclase zoals hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipemia, arteriosclerose, vasculaire ziekten, mycose, parasit besmettingen, gallstones, tumors en/of hyperproliferative wanorde, en behandeling en/of profylaxe van geschade glucosetolerantie en diabetes worden geassocieerd.
