The present invention relates to compounds having the general formula 1
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R.sup.1 is a
saturated or unsaturated 5-, 6- or 7-membered, ring containing 0, 1, 2 or
3 atoms selected from N, O and S, wherein the ring may be fused with a
benzo group, and is substituted by 0, 1 or 2 oxo groups, and wherein
R.sup.1 is additionally substituted; and R.sup.2 is a substituted
C.sub.1-6alkyl. Also included is a method of prophylaxis or treatment of
inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, Pagets disease, osteoporosis,
multiple myeloma, uveititis, acute or chronic myelogenous leukemia,
pancreatic .beta. cell destruction, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid
spondylitis, gouty arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, adult
respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), psoriasis, Crohn's disease,
allergic rhinitis, ulcerative colitis, anaphylaxis, contact dermatitis,
asthma, muscle degeneration, cachexia, Reiter's syndrome, type I
diabetes, type II diabetes, bone resorption diseases, graft vs. host
reaction, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, myocardial infarction, ischemia
reperfusion injury, atherosclerosis, brain trauma, multiple sclerosis,
cerebral malaria, sepsis, septic shock, toxic shock syndrome, fever,
myalgias due to HIV-1, HIV-2, HIV-3, cytomegalovirus (CMV), influenza,
adenovirus, the herpes viruses or herpes zoster infection in a mammal
comprising administering an effective amount a compound as described
above.
De onderhavige uitvinding heeft daarvan op samenstellingen betrekking die algemene formule 1 of een farmaceutisch aanvaardbaar zout hebben, waarin R.sup.1 verzadigde of onverzadigde 5 - is, 6 of 7-membered, ring die 0..1..2 of 3 atomen bevatten die uit N, O en S worden geselecteerd, waarin de ring met een benzo groep kan worden gesmolten, en door 0..1 of 2 oxo groepen, gesubstitueerd en waarin R.sup.1 bovendien wordt gesubstitueerd; en R.sup.2 is een gesubstitueerde C.sub.1-6alkyl. Ook omvat worden een methode van profylaxe of de behandeling van ontsteking, reumatoïde artritis, ziekte Pagets, osteoporose, veelvoudige myeloma, uveititis, scherpe of chronische myelogenous leukemie, pancreatic vernietiging van de beta. cel, osteoartritis, reumatoïde spondylitis, gouty artritis, ontstekingsdarmziekte, volwassen ademhalingsnoodsyndroom (ARDS), psoriasis, Crohn's ziekte, allergisch Rhinitis, ulcerative colitis, anaphylaxis, contactdermatitis, astma, spierdegeneratie, cachexie, het syndroom van Reiter, type I diabetes, type II diabetes, de ziekten van de beenresorptie, ent versus gastheerreactie, de ziekte van Alzheimer, slag, myocardiaal infarct, de verwonding van de ischemiereperfusie, atherosclerose, hersenentrauma het bestaan uit beherend een efficiënt bedrag een samenstelling zoals hierboven beschreven.
