The present invention provides compositions and methods for generation of
premature transcription termination products. Premature termination of
transcription interferes with the normal transcription and termination of
early phase genes of the poxviruses and results in inhibition of
replication of the poxviruses. The compositions of the present invention
are oligonucleotides comprising a U5NU sequence flanked by
ribonucleotides, deoxyribonucleotides or modifications thereof. This
invention also provides methods for inhibition of replication of poxvirus
including the small poxvirus, Monkeypox virus and vaccinia virus.
Die anwesende Erfindung stellt Aufbau und Methoden für Erzeugung der vorzeitigen Übertragungendpunktprodukte zur Verfügung. Vorzeitiger Endpunkt der Übertragung behindert die normale Übertragung und den Endpunkt der frühen Phase Gene der poxviruses und der Resultate in der Hemmung der Reproduktion der poxviruses. Der Aufbau der anwesenden Erfindung ist die Oligonucleotides, die eine U5NU Reihenfolge enthalten, die durch Ribonucleotide, deoxyribonucleotides oder Änderungen davon angegrenzt wird. Diese Erfindung stellt auch Methoden für Hemmung der Reproduktion von poxvirus einschließlich das kleine poxvirus, das Monkeypox Virus und das vaccinia Virus zur Verfügung.
