Methods of treating a mammal in shock or at risk for shock are provided.
The methods involve administration of an adrenomedullin binding protein-1 to the
mammal. Also provided are methods of preventing or treating a physiologic effect
of shock in a mammal. These methods also involve administration of an adrenomedullin
binding protein-1 to the mammal.
