Two embodiments of very simple by highly effective antitheft devices for use
in small vehicles such as motor scooters, personal watercraft or other forms of
watercraft. Each system employs a removable component which also functions as a
display and which disables the operation of the prime mover of the vehicle. The
removed component can be carried by the user and reinserted when he desires to
again operate the vehicle.
