According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for effecting
temperature control in a camera includes a lens housing having an optical stop,
a lens disposed within the lens housing, and a thermally conductive material disposed
between the lens and the optical stop. The thermally conductive material, which
may be an adhesive, has a thermal conductivity of at least approximately 1.90 W/mK.
