A system and method for ordering visual prints from digital image data. The system
and method include acquiring digital images from a digital image storage medium,
assigning a unique identification code to the acquired digital images, storing
the acquired digital images in association with the unique identification code,
printing at least one index sheet of the digital image, the at least one index
sheet containing visual print ordering information and the unique identification
code, providing visual print information, producing visual prints based on the
print order information, and providing the visual prints to a customer.
