The invention relates, in part, to pharmaceutical compositions that
comprise a combination of pantethine, or a derivative thereof, and a
second active agent. Examples of second active agents include, but are
not limited to, statins, fibrates, glitazones, biguanides, sulfonylureas,
dyslipidemic controlling compounds, small peptides of the invention, and
combinations thereof. The invention also relates to methods for treating,
preventing, or managing cholesterol, dyslipidemia, and related disorders.
