Polyurethane gels, a reaction system for preparing the gels, and a process
for producing polyurethane gels. The reaction system comprises a polyisocyanate
composition and an isocyanate-reactive composition comprising a relatively high
molecular weight mono-ol and a relatively low molecular weight polyol having a
nominal isocyanate-reactive functionality of at least 3. The gels do not require
the use of plasticizers. The reaction system and process offer a surprising combination
of long working time and rapid cure.
