A unique class of anti-neoplastic compositions are described. The compositions
contain certain Chinese medicinal herbs: Panax ginsing, Poria cocos, Atractylodes
macrocephala, Angelic sinensis, Astragalus membranaceus, Curcuma zedoaria, Scutellaria
baicalensis, Coptis chinenisis, Glycyrrhiza uralenisis, Crataegus pinatifida, Hordeum
vulgare, Schisandra chinensis, Hedyotis diffusa, Ophiophogon japonicus, and
Lobelia chinesis lour. Extensive testing indicates an effective treatment
rate of 69.7% and 84.3% when used in combination with radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
The animal trials conducted demonstrate that the anti-neoplastic compositions increase
the activity of NK cells, and reduce and prevent metastasis of tumors under stress conditions.
