A device includes a support, a lock connected to the support, and a protective
element configured to protect the lock. The lock includes a plurality of strands.
At least a portion of the protective element is transparent. The protective element
is mounted to the support so as to permit movement of the support between a first
position and a second position. When the protective element is in the first position,
the lock is at least substantially contained inside the protective element and,
when the protective element is in the second position, at least a portion of the
lock is at least partly accessible to touch.
