element, wherein the optical waveguide layer is provided with a light direction-altering
means for altering the direction of light propagated in the optical waveguide layer
and directing the light to the light-receiving element, and the light-receiving
element is provided with a plurality of light-receiving portions, each of the light-receiving
portions being capable of receiving signals independently.
