The main part of the system or the control unit discriminates the type of the tuner included in the tuner unit, based on a control signal output from the tuner unit after the start of the communication between the tuner unit and the communication interface unit, and displays a receiving station corresponding to a channel receivable by the tuner, in accordance with the type of the tuner and information from the communication interface unit.
