The present invention is directed to novel 3-(3,5-disubstituted-4-hydroxyp- henyl)-propionamide derivatives that are inhibitors of Cathepsin B. Pharmaceutical composition comprising these compounds, method of treating diseases mediated by Cathepsin B, utilizing these compounds and methods of preparing these compounds are also disclosed.
