A new apple variety distinguished by resistance to apple scab; crisp flesh and excellent dessert quality; attractive color (almost completely red); ripens in the middle of September in West Lafayette, Ind.; size varies from 2.75 to 3 inches in diameter; and good storage ability (can be stored up to six months at 1.degree. C.).
