The invention relates to a protein powder which contains at least one
protein source and a stabilizer, selected from esterified pectin and/or
carboxymethyl cellulose, which is obtainable by mixing a protein source
with a stabilizer, heating the mixture, homogenizing the mixture, and
drying the mixture, thereby obtaining a powder. The invention also
relates to a method for producing said protein powder, a method for
producing a protein-containing drink using said protein powder and a
protein-containing drink obtained by said method.
