The bandgap circuit comprising a plurality of cells that are sequentially connected to provide summation of .DELTA.V.sub.BE of each cell, with low noise. Each cell is formed of a plurality of NPN bipolar transistors. The transistors form an amplifier that generates a voltage that is proportional to absolute temperature.
