A method of fabricating a substrate for an organic electroluminescent
display device includes forming a first electrode on a substrate in a
pixel region and a non-pixel region, the first electrode including a
first conductive material, forming an auxiliary electrode on the first
electrode in the non-pixel region, the auxiliary electrode including a
second conductive material and contacting the first electrode, the first
and second conductive materials being different from one another, forming
a bank corresponding to the auxiliary electrode, the bank surrounding the
pixel region, forming an organic electroluminescent layer on the first
electrode, the organic electroluminescent layer in the pixel region
surrounded by the bank, and forming a second electrode on the organic
electroluminescent layer, the second electrode corresponding to the
organic electroluminescent layer.
