Pyrimidine compounds of formula (1): ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.3-C.sub.7 alkynyl optionally substituted with halogen; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently hydrogen or the like; and R.sup.4 is C.sub.3-C.sub.7 alkynyloxy optionally substituted with halogen, optionally substituted phenyl, or the like have an excellent pesticidal effect.
