The information reading apparatus includes a control unit that controls a reading unit to read the first information from one of the first radio frequency identification tags to obtain the second identification information, and to read, based on the second identification information obtained, the second information to obtain the first identification information of all of the first radio frequency identification tags that belong to the first group.
