An internally illuminated snowboard track for recreational areas or parks
which are operated at night is made up of a continuous elongated
transparent rail which is supported a predetermined distance above the
ground by a base support member, and a light source extends
longitudinally and internally of the rail to project light outwardly
therefrom. A base stabilizer beneath the support member can either be
planted in the snow or anchored to the ground surface in the track system
may be inclined, curved, straight or provided with one or more bends. A
snowboard ramp may be constructed in the same basic manner to serve as a
jump for snowboarders.
