An engineered flexure component for mounting on a substantially flat surface for improving dimensional stability therebetween has a member with an elastic mechanism being connected thereto. The elastic mechanism manages a shear force between the engineered flexure component and the substantially flat surface when the elastic mechanism contacts the substantially flat surface.
