A device for supporting at least one optical component is disclosed and
includes an optical component mount configured to engage and retain at
least one optical component therein, a support member attached to the
optical component mount, a support body having at least one longitudinal
passage sized to receive the support member therein, the longitudinal
passage in communication with at least one opening formed on the support
body, a radial compression member in communication with the longitudinal
passage and configured to radially compress the support member thereby
coupling the support member to the support body, and at least one
securing device attachable to the support body and configured to radially
compress the radial compression member.
