A monolayer or multilayer bean curd skin is produced by a process comprising the thin-film forming step of heating soymilk or the like to thereby form a thin film at the surface thereof; the thin-film sticking step of providing a picking tool with planar part and bringing the planar picking step of pulling up the picking tool having the thin film stuck thereto to thereby accomplish picking of the thin film, these thin-film forming step, thin-film sticking step and thin-film picking step as one cycle repeated one or more times.
