A series arranged air compressors system includes a first air compressor
and a second air compressor pneumatically connected in series in an open,
closed or partially closed state of operation. The output of the second
air compressor is used as a source of compressed air for an air
suspension system of a motor vehicle and/or to pressurize air inflatable
articles. Flow of compressed air is selectively controlled by an
electronic control circuit via at least one air flow control block, and
the system may further include one or more air reservoirs.
