This invention relates to transgenic plants for producing products of
interest such as proteins. Since the transgenic plants according to the
invention are cultured in large quantities without culturing tissues and
their heredity is preserved through several generations, the invention
can yield the products of interest such as proteins in bulk. The
invention also provides transgenic plants that are available to the
analysis of genomic functions and the production of plants expressing
genes by regulating the timing of the expression of the gene of interest
by use of proper expression vectors.
