A drum spur extension apparatus having an elongate member having a predetermined length, a longitudinally extending axis and a longitudinally extending inner bore that is sized for receiving a drum spur. The elongate member has a closed end and an opposite open end defining an opening in communication with the longitudinally extending bore.
