Certain aspects of a method and system for controlling a user interface of
a device using human breath may include detecting movement caused by
expulsion of human breath by a user. In response to the detection of
movement caused by expulsion of human breath, one or more control signals
may be generated. The generated control signals may control the user
interface of a device and may enable navigation and/or selection of
components in the user interface. The generated one or more control
signals may be communicated to the device being controlled via a wired
and/or a wireless signal. The expulsion of the human breath may occur in
open space and the detection of the movement caused by the expulsion may
occur without the use of a channel. The detection of the movement and/or
the generation of the control signals may be performed by a MEMS detector
or sensor.
