Non-steroidal androgen receptor modulating compounds of the general formula (I), their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, preparation process and pharmaceutically compositions containing the said compounds are disclosed. Such compounds of the general formula (I) or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts can be used for preparing non-steroidal medicines to treat and/or prevent conditions or diseases such as prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer, hirsutism, severe hormone-dependent alopecia or acne, etc. as a result of androgen receptor antagonistic activities. ##STR00001##
