An issue management system for tracking and monitoring issues across an
organization includes a database suitable for storing multiple issues,
where each issue pertains to a project and is to be resolved by an issue
team having at least one member. The issues may, for example, be tracked
and/or monitored in a standardized manner. The database can be
dynamically updated in response to a first e-mail sent by said at least
one member of the issue team. The issue management system can also
automatically send a second e-mail to said at least one member of the
issue team. The issues and their resolutions are automatically stored in
the database, and the issues can be-consolidated at an enterprise level
across the organization.
