A motorized stationary bike is provided for lower body rehabilitation. The
motorized stationary bike has the same general appearance as an ordinary
bike. Furthermore, it comprises a motor, a drive shaft, a coupler, a worm
gear, and a toothed gear where the motor, the drive shaft, the coupler,
and the worm gear are axially aligned one to another, and are horizontally
disposed on the bike frame. The motor is connected to the drive shaft, and
the drive shaft is coupled to the worm gear by the coupler. The worm gear
is engaged to the toothed gear. The motor is coupled to an electrical
energy source such that when the motor is turned on, the worm gear drives
the toothed gear, which causes each of the step pedal supporting arms and
the respective step pedal to turn.
Una bici inmóvil motorizada se proporciona para una rehabilitación más baja del cuerpo. La bici inmóvil motorizada tiene el mismo aspecto general que una bici ordinaria. Además, abarca un motor, un eje impulsor, un acoplador, un engranaje de gusano, y un engranaje dentado donde el motor, el eje impulsor, el acoplador, y el engranaje de gusano se alinean axialmente uno a otro, y se dispone horizontalmente en el marco de la bici. El motor está conectado con el eje impulsor, y el eje impulsor es juntado al engranaje de gusano por el acoplador. El engranaje de gusano se contrata al engranaje dentado. El motor se junta a una fuente de energía eléctrica tales que cuando se gira el motor, el engranaje de gusano conduce el engranaje dentado, que causa cada uno de los brazos de soporte del pedal del paso y del pedal respectivo del paso a la vuelta.
